Space Food Sticks Relaunch 2021

space food sticksWe are excited about the announcement of the partnership with Space Food Sticks through our cannabis division – The Vivid Team. The partnership is in collaboration with Eric Lufcowitz founder of Retrofuture Products and the Space Food Sticks Preservation Society. Space Food Sticks is set for an out-of-this-world relaunch in 2021 and will be infused with THC.

Space Food Sticks is the first trademarked, legacy brand to enter the cannabis marketplace in California on July 20th – the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landings. Trademark applications have been filed in every adult-use, legal state in the United States. A Canadian trademark application is also currently pending.

The partnership will include all elements of reinventing the brand for 2021 from formula development to dispensary shelf commercialization. This amazing product infused with THC will be launching in Q2 of 2021 with three flavors chocolate, peanut butter, and caramel. The formula is being updated with consideration for higher protein intake, lower salt, along with organic and non-GMO ingredients. The bar will be segmented for micro-dosing with a total of 10mg of THC.

Retrofuture Products owns all the original IP from Pillsbury – the original creator of Space Food Sticks – and we will be using the historical imagery to build a renewed brand story with optimism about the future, space travel, and humanity in general.

Most recently this iconic brand was featured on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Check out this video. The call out starts at minute 9:00.  We love the connection with Stephen Colbert as he is a space fanatic and so are we.

The first run of the product from The Vivid Team was chocolate and sent directly to Stephen.  TVT included a historical “one-sheet” and hand-delivered the tasty treat to his Manhattan office.  We will keep you posted when Eric gets his 15 minutes of fame on the show. We know that The Vivid Team will knock it out of the Earth!
